My father-in-law amassed this collection during his career as a locomotive engineer in the Baltimore - Boston corridor. The collection is massive and I'll be adding to it as time permits, so keep and eye out for new exhibits of railroad memorabilia with 50+ signs, ~10 trolley fair boxes, 10K+ photos and negatives, 56K+ slides and videos as well as 8mm and 35mm film, 800+ books and magazines, 1500 stock certificates, buttons, pin and other insignia, 100+ lanterns ranging from the 1800’s to 1970s, conductor hats and badges, 30+ horns and steam whistles, Bus Subway and Trolley roll/destination signs, 10 full Xerox boxes of railroad tickets and transfer passes, 50+ pressure gauges from locomotives, a working GG1 Headlight!, brass throttle handles from a variety of locomotives, teletype keys, vintage Railroad detective badges, 240+ Engine number and manufacturer plates from retired engines, railroad locks, a huge inventoried collection of vintage railroad timetables, schedules, maps, paperwork, employee handbooks, yard maps/diagrams, engine and rolling stock diagrams and datasheets, blueprints, and more!
